does UTS give out free handbooks? (1 Viewer)

Did i steal a handbook??????

on the advisory day (jan. 5th) at UTS, i went to the science stand, and i was picking up all the handouts- i also picked up the 2004 faculty handbook...now i find out that handbooks cost money (for USYD) -so is this the case for UTS as well? i'm asking this, coz if it isn't for free, i might have accidently ended up stealing a handbook (and my friend got one as well).

ummm we got handed IT handbooks today at UTS on enrolment...for free....so yeah....they're free i believe

we had to buy ours, if you really wanted it (you can just download them online)

they sell them at the co-op shop for some silly price

I think they are free..
I was enrolling for Big Willy last year and they just handed me an IT handbook

yeah they are free i got handed a science one on thursday, but on the back it says they are $16.50, so id say there oly free on enrolment day

Faculty Handbooks at UTS are issued to students studying the relevant degree. The price of the handbook is included in what you pay at enrolment, I believe. As for open day... I think you stole it.

anyway, i'll just stuff it and give the handbook to someone who goes to UTS...i'm prolly not gonna return it coz i had a dream abt. me trying to return it and i get arrested- strange dream i know. :mad1:

some of this is true...

science (awesome uts faculty) give them out to enroled students AND people at open day/ advise day etc....

business (iv had a stack of problems with this facualty) dont give them to current enroled business students, they make u buy them....so they sure as hell dont give em out at the advisory day...

I got busted 2 times trying 2 steal one of these books (i got a 'hey those arnt free')....but got lucky on the 3rd time....
