anything from: www.abandongames.com

I particularly liked the lucasarts adventure games, ie monkey island series, day of the tentacle, etc.

fire up Sam and Max
the Indiana Jones ones
Maniac Mansion/Day of the Tenticle (this one rocks. as much as sam and max)
Full throttle
the monkey island series
edit: another few! simon the sorcerer 1 and 2!
and the discworld adventures. they rocked.

For the LucasArts adventure games, ScummVM does an awesome job - usually better than DOSBox

Ahhhhhhhh, how I wish Adventure games would be the way they were.. SCUMMY

As for DOSBox and Abandonware, the best site is http://www.the-underdogs.org/http://www.the-underdogs.org/
It has a huge selection of games... including the original System Shock.

As for old games, all I have on there at the moment is Arena and half a dozen Hentai Dating games............
