hello,

i was just wandering for the dot point 'explain why the apparent inconsistent behaviour of cathode rays caused debate as to whether they were charged particles or electromagnetic waves' if it is necessary to include the scientists involved and their contributions...

You should outline the results of the experiments by W.Crookes, (eg. cathode rays cause glass to flourese, which is a property of a wave, there are plenty more)

Then talk about Hertz's contribution when he found out that the rays were not deflected by electric fields, and more about his other discoverys

This then provides the basis for a debate
