hate to be picky, but anything else other than the peppered moth? we were told to be cautious with this example as its truthness (don't you hate it when u cna't think of the right word) has been called into question (ie whatshisname may have fiddled his results)

yeh ... timmy brought up this issue awhile ago as well...

hm mega fauna's u learn abt last yr shud be good enuf examples... surface to body ratio becomeing too small... so cannot cool down fast/efficient enuf... so the arid conditions in australia is no longer suitable for mega faunas so they die out...

1. Peppered moth (ok, possibly dodgy.)
2. Darwin's finches or tortoises.
3. Antibiotic resistance... at a pinch (check with teacher first maybe).

I know the peppered moth might be a bit dodgy, but I don't think they're gonna mark you down for using it in the HSC.

thanks guys, i know i've always got the peppered moth option, if nothing else, but have decided to do the brushtail possum and its resistance to the poison (1080) etc

wat about the effects of the physical environment on eucalyptus trees?
