I am a student in year 10 and just did the dr du entrance test a month ago and am in y10 a1. Just asking because i've seen that lots of people who go here have received state ranks for 4u maths so thats one of the main reasons i came. I have a few friends around my smartness doing the year 11 course in dr du but are in the a3 class. There is also other tutoring centres that people in my school go like kurt or ngo but i think kurt accelerates too fast and by the time i cover his content at school, then i might forget it and the people who go ngo arent the smartest people and even they say its too easy for them. there is allso another place ive heard called matt cash which gives content that aligns with my school and people say its fine. should i go to dr du y10 a1 or should i try accelerate and do y11 but be in the a3 ofr b class?? or should i go somewhere else like private??

Are you confident with learning both the content of year 10 at school and year 11 at dr du? Pretty sure that you'd be one term ahead at du as well, although the first bit of content is really just revision. If you're comfortable with learning both 10 and 11, then you might as well do Year 11, although my advice probably isn't the best since I've never been to du before and my friend there is accelerated at school, plus idk how the a3 and b classes work.
