Im looking around for a good quality at a reasonable price bike..lets just say ive lost confidence in the bikes you buy at kmarts and target.
plus what would you reccomend? as in features etc?
for now id say im looking at 3 piece cranks, comfotable seat and suspension.

i need something that in case of a car crash, the bike is still 'rideable'. im not an xtreme mtb biker but ive just chucked my bike away becoz of an accident so i want a bike that can take on the conditions lol. but im just looking for something that is alrite to ride and some form of suspension.
DaddyK, what is like this?
thanks all.

Very useful for trips down to the local store.

Stepping it up a little, not the greatest stunt bike.

Ultimate :D ( When it's finished )

If you are going to get a reasonably priced bike, go for a single shock rather than a dual shock. I was at the bike shop today getting parts for my bmx and was looking at a mountain bike to get when i get some more $$ and saw a few decent bikes (specialized, Giant and Haros mainly in the $500 to $1500 range. Im not sure if you consider that a decent range though.
