I recently got DSL, a self-install kit thing.
Now I had to link up those module things for each of my phones using the same line as the DSL modem, you know as to separate the frequencies of the line used for calls and DSL etc., and you simply place each 'module' between the phone line connecting each of your phone/fax devices. Therefore you have atleast as many module thingys as the number of phone devices you have (since you need one for each phone device obviously).
Well in the install kit, I only got 2 of those module thingys, when I have five phones, but apparently my DSL works fine even when all of the phones are connected (3 without the module thingys).. what's the point of those things then? Or is it harming my DSL modem or something by not linking one up for every phone device?
