DVD-no sound (1 Viewer)

a while ago i re-installed my soundcard driver. since then, when i tried to play DVDs on my computer, no sound would come out (the video is fine though). i can play .avi, .mpeg files and VCDs alright, but just not DVDs. any idea what i can do to fix this?

im guessing the audio filter for dvds isnt working...

reinstall the soundcard files then the dvd software

an AC3 sound codec fixed it.
