Hey guys,

It's been while since I got this, however, through UAC, I received a letter in regards to my elegibility for EAS points:
~
I'm writing to tell you that you've been assessed as eligible for consideration under the Educational Access Schemes(EAS) program. No action is required by you in relation to this advice. You've been made automatically eligible for EAS consideration as a result of your attendance at either:a school that is supported by the Priority Schools Funding Program of the NSW.
~

My desired course is in Macquarie University. I have also received another letter stating the Universities that have recognised my eligibility for EAS points. Of these, Macquarie University is one of them. After looking at information about Macquarie's EAS scheme (Lighthouse Scheme), it specifically says:
~
If you believe that you have education or social disadvantages or other special circumstances, your application may be given individual consideration through Macquarie University's Lighthouse Scheme . All Students who are deemed eligible will receive four(4) bonus point towards their ATAR.~
http://www.mq.edu.au/future_students/undergraduate/bonus_points/educational_access_scheme/

I'm just wondering If I will really be given 4 EAS points by Macquarie University as it says on its website, or is it on a supply and demand basis, 4 bonus points, being the maximum possible awarded to those deemed eligible. Does different disadvantage circumstances also determine the number of points one receives or does everyone who is 'deemed eligible' receive 4 EAS points as it says?

i do realise EAS points are different from Bonus points or academic advantage points. EAS for Macquarie CAN be used for law (the course I'm aiming for) whilst academic advantage/subject points DO NOT, just like many other universities.

Thanks guys!
