Hi hi, just a quick question on C and D of the image above. The correct answers are right and down, but I don't see how, someone care to explain?

Hi hi, just a quick question on C and D of the image above. The correct answers are right and down, but I don't see how, someone care to explain?

Right and down are the correct answers - use your right hand rule.
C. Thumb pointing out of the page (direction of the current), fingers pointing down (magnetic flux) and thus, palm facing to the right (force).
D. Thumb pointing into the page (direction of the current), fingers pointing to the right (magnetic flux) and thus, palm facing down (force).

Where:
F=force (palm)
B=magnetic flux
v=direction of positive charge OR direction of conventional current
