i'd recommend that you transfer into a degree that is closest to accounting. by the looks of it that would be ebus. then look at the core subjects for accounting and try to enrol into as many of those as you can.

with commerce degrees the first year subjects are almost identical across the different degrees.

here are the first yr subjects for accounting:

ACCG100
ACCG101
ECON110
ECON111
STAT170 ( or STAT171. i'd recommend you to do 170 since it is much easier than 171 and you dont need 171)
COMP unit (COMP123 is the easiest i've heard)
ACST101

Just as an aside, ACCG101 and ECON111 are semester two subjects.

javahead, so long as you don't think a unit is easy to pass, you should pass it.

very true....every subject at uni requires constant work. that is the key in my opinion.

many subjects don't need constant work. some need a few days tbh. =p in recent memory, econ110 was one of them.

i do (!) for one subject every semester (maybe not the "studies the material everyday" bit).

believe it or not some people do constantly work, ie- work from text and do tutes weekly and it shows in results.

i did that slightly for stat, but stopped after about mid way. its too much.

i still reckon that doing work regularly is the better than cramming! :p

work regularly for that which needs to be worked regularly on, and cram for that which can be crammed on. =p

i don't do those things either but i make constant notes (sometimes), keep up to date with which lectures are on, turn up to lectures and do things for tutes. even if i don't do the readings that they never check up on or study the material until a week before the exam i still would say i do constant work.
