Hey guys was just wondering.. I am 2nd in eco in my school; but my mark is 88... my teacher told me that for eco, usually the internal mark is the report mark... Is that true? I find it hard to beat the first one as he has 6 makrs further than me .. does that mean I wont get a band 6 for eco?

How is internal marks calculated? I am so confused...

Internal assessment marks are moderated according to your (relative) position in the school as to equalise the distribution of marks throughout the state. You may be second but the disparity between you and first place means that your internal assessment mark will be significantly lower.

(If you mean school report marks, those are usually not scaled and taken as raw values)
