I've just completed the 2010 HSC and now realise all the easily avoidable mistakes and small improvements that make an enormous difference in getting your desired ATAR. While I only got 97.50, my particular focus and interest was Economics; and I am now moving on to study Commerce at USYD.
This interest and continued study allows me to give my students more depth to their understanding of Economics, which is particularly helpful for those who wish to study at a business school after high school. As a tutor, I will teach you the syllabus content, but combine it with a broader understanding of the subject; with the relevant statistics, diagrams and theories. Additionally, I will guide you with the correct exam and essay techniques, which I now know make the difference between an excellent student getting a mid-to-high Band 5 or a high Band 6.
