Sorry to bother everyone but I've recently done an experiment to investigate the effect of salt water and anti-freeze on the boiling point of water as you increase the concentration of each repectively. My probelem is that some people in the class had results which indicated the boiling point decreased while my results indicated an increase in boiling pt.
Our teacher was away and the sub was a bit vague about the experiment and the results so I'm just wondering what is meant to happen to the boiling pt of water when you increase the concentration of salt and what happens when you increase the concentration of anti-freeze (ethylene Glycol)?
and if you don't mind, maybe type up an experiment you regarding this but you don't have to because I know it'll be a hassle for you.
Thank You in advance.
