Hey, slightly worried about what topics will be given for this period, as my ability is dependent upon this.. Is there anything else they can ask about besides (from the syllabus. Some of these seem pretty unlikely to me. Not trying to second-guess it, but just attempting to relieve myself..);
-Unification of Egypt
-Overview of significant events from the unification to the death of Pepy II.
-Development of the pharaonic state.
-Roles of the King and Vizier
-Establishment of the bureaucracy and tax system
-Development of pyramid and mortuary complexes.-
-Divestment of power to non-members of the royal family.
-Changes to religion
-Decline of the Old Kingdom. (Unfortunately, this was done last year, as was 'Changes to religion'..
)
-Role of Queens (2001 HSC)
-Viziers, nomarches and other officials..
-Influence of military expeditions and foreign contact.
-The economy.
