Just letting you know that there's an awesome Ancient Egyptian exhibition on at the National Gallery, Canberra.

The exhibition's on until the 25th February, 2007.

Many of the objects are from the later period, so may not be so relevant to your studies, but they're still amazing. They're on loan from the Musée du Louvre, which has, in my opinion, the best Egyptian collection outside of the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities in Cairo.

I went today and spent four hours in there -- there were some lectures on as well -- but I'm going again. *cough* geek *cough* Anyway, I'd highly recommend it for all Ancient History students.
