I've checked the resolutions and the handbooks online quite a bit, and it seems that there is no space for electives in pharmacy :( If I wanted to enrol in a subject outside the Faculty of Pharmacy, I will need to get permission, won't I? This sudden change of mind has resulted from talking to a friend yesterday who albeit, doing Liberal Studies, really has liberal choices to make in terms of subjects, but she said there should be no reason why I couldn't just sneak in another subject and overload this semester. I would satisfy the prereqs (btw, the subject I'm considering is a first year music subject), but I'm just worried about:

- Permission? --> whom should I talk to, and by when?
- Census dates? (this includes why on earth the 2007 pre-enrolment thing is down just so conveniently, and can I still add subjects if and when it gets back up) --> my friend is also worried about this as she's also considering overloading
- What sort of average do I need to convince? Is a solid credit average good enough?

I've also checked the medical science handbook (I've been interested in this course for ages) and it seems you can only do electives in third year?

If only there was a mega big degree where I could combine pharmacy, med science, music and some arts subjects......:(

Talk to the faculty of pharmacy first to see if you can overload this year at all. I'd talk to them soon just to get everything out of the way. :)

The 2007 pre-enrolment is not down. The staff are most likely going through and seeing everyone meets the prerequisites to do the units of study they've enrolled in. Once this is done, you can then vary your enrolment online. However, I'm not sure when this would be.
