What do you mean by enrolling for electives? Just pick the classes you need to do for what major/minor you want.

Well what degree are you doing and what majors+minors do you plan on doing?

I never picked my majors when I enrolled, I just picked the classes required for my particular major.

Just physically enter the subject code like MATH1081 or what ever it is but are you sure that you're allowed to do Spanish?

Hi magchem07,

I thought I might help you. With the 3970 Bachelor of Science Program, you are required to complete:
1) Two (2) majors from Table A of the handbook OR
2) One major from Table A, one minor from Table B

It looks like you've picked Anatomy for your major. As a result, you will need to complete BIOS1201, BIOS1101 and 6UOC of level 1 Chemistry.

The remaining subjects that you pick depends on your choice of your second major, or minor.

If you wish to take Spanish and Latin American Studies as your minor, you'll need to complete SPAN1001 and SPAN1002. You need to complete at least 24UOC of Level 1 Science courses.

So you should be enrolling something along these lines:

Session 1
BIOS1201
6UOC Level 1 Chemistry eg. CHEM1831, CHEM1011, CHEM1041
SPAN1001

Session 2
BIOS1101
SPAN1002

I don't know what your interests might be, so I can't recommend any moreparticular courses for Session 1 or Session 2. Of the 3 courses that still need to be chosen, you will need to complete at least one more Science subject (so that could be Mathematics).

Hope that helps.

And a pending class usually means you haven't completed the enrolment process, you need to select the classes and then click the "enrol" button to actually enrol into that course.

Awesome, looks like you've selected your courses. I hope my post was helpful. I must admit that a lot of the material that the first-year students may be daunting and somewhat misleading, but there are people to help you through the process! =).

Remember, consult the Handbook at www.handbook.unsw.edu.au or if you have an enquiry, contact the relevant office.
