Hi,

I am looking for example(s) of Electromagnetic Braking through the use of eddy currents, some unique ones preferably (Not Trains/RollerCoasters/Triple Beam Balance, which are listed in the Syllabus). This is for an assessment for start of year 12 course.

Just out of random : Theres a guy in my class called Wilkins he is like 4 foot tall.

I think the Space Probe 7 in Wonderland in Sydney used electromagnetic braking.

The actual seats consist of magnets. As the seats free fall, they eventually pass copper sheets in which eddy currents are induced to stop the seats.
