How do i stop receiving email notification of threads?
Cause i think i have tried in the usercp and it didnt work

Buit i have already set this:
Default Thread Subscription Mode: to no email notification
But it isnt working, whats the problem or how do i fix this

are you subscribed to threads still? coz u gotta delete them, as well

unsubscribe to these and you should be right, i hope...if not then i have no idea

Is there any other way apart from unsubscribing, because i use them for navigation around the site and to check on updates to threads and posts, that i have been involved in

Yes, go to your user CP, and list all your subscriptions. On the far right there is the type of subscription listed as well. They are probably on instant. Select the check box at the top of the list to select all the threads, at the bottom of the page there is a drop down box that lets you change the type of subscription for the checked threads.

Will that allow me to keep my subscriptions and not receive email notification

If you try the instructions I gave you, you will find there is an option of "No email notification" you can change your subscriptions to.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to sunny again.

That was the point: korn doesn't want to remove the subscribed threads, but just change it so he doesn't get email notifications.
