okay i am considering dropping general math for ext history
Is it a good idea, i have been considering it for a while now

i already do both histories ancient and modern
rank 1 in ancient and ranked 3 in modern

i also do adv english and ext english
also legal studies
aiming for an ATAR of 95+ although i think that if I do maths it will bring my ATAR down due to scaling and cause i forget everything for my yearlies!

could I get that ATAR of 94-95 with those subjects?
i really need some advice
it has been bugging me and no one seems to be giving any useful advice!

Do it. I dropped Maths 2U so I could do both English Extensions and History Extension and it was the best decision I have EVER made.
I was about 3rd in my maths class, but the effort it took to get the grades was totally disproportionate.
If you're good at English do it, Legal Studies doesn't scale too well, but neither does Vis Arts and I love it (and am ranked 1st)
So if you really want to, go for it. Histories scale really well and if you're good at english you're set
