have seen clueless about 6 times in teh last 3-4 weeks of school due to my teacher going on holiday to egypt a little early and suprisingly the novelty value has not worn off but it's crazy how many connections you make between the two texts when you're forced to really watch the movie. Also how many names are included that you didn't notice before. Elton and Mr. Elton took me until i think the ... 2nd for it to click. ah well happy watching everyone.

Remember to give equal time to both texts.

And you will get merits for noticing the "deeper" similarities, for example anyone can look and notice that the characters have counterparts, but noticing similarities or differences about small underlying things will help you understand why Heckerling has kept, changed or abolished certain elements of Austen's piece.
