i'm doing a speech on emma/clueless and was wondering if anyone can give me some examples on the theme of vanity in emma??
i know that Emma's vanity is based on wealth + status in society. but i'm a bit stuck on specific examples. the only one i can think of is the irony that she always thinks she right but she's wrong in matchmaking Harriet and Mr Elton. any help is much appreciated!!
