part time employed 5 mil
unemployed 5mil
population of working age 40mil
total population 50mil

what is the participation rate for this nation?

a) 80%
b) 15 million
c) 50%
d) 40 million


What is the unemployment rate for this nation

a) 33%
b)25%
c) 20%
d) 10 million


I dont understand how you get the answers. I know the unemployment answer is 25% but no idea how you get it.
