Hi, I recently got an encore nomination for my music 2 and extension program, and I was wondering how likely it would be for me to be selected to perform at the encore showcase next year.
Given that I play the bassoon, I thought that this may give me a slight advantage due to the way that a lot of encore selections are based on diversity of instruments.
This is my program
music 2:
Maelstrom - Brendan Collins - it was an original piece composed for me
Sonata in Fm - Telemann
Water Spirit Song - Ross Edwards
Music extension:
Bassoon Concerto in F - Carl Maria Von Weber
Trio for Oboe, Bassoon, and Piano - Francis Poulenc
Solo de Basson no.1 - Eugene Bourdeau
I feel like the trio might be the most likely to be selected because it features two rarer instruments in the Oboe and Bassoon.
