I have just one question to ask....what on earth or who on earth is talking at the start of ecah chapter? Its in a different font to the rest of the book....l can't figure out who it is... l'm up to the part where Ender beats one of the bigger boys at the 3-d game or whatever.

yep that is correct. if my memmory serves me right, it is a foreshadowing of what happens in that chapter

yep, what the other two have said.
it is the antagonists of the novel (that is, the adults) who talk at the beginning of each chapter. as you rightly point out, it changes each time. it is a foreshadowing of what the chapter will bring, but it is a deliberate technique used by the composer to not inform the responder of who exactly is talking.
