Okay, so I'm interested to study Engineering at UNSW, however assuming that I dont make the ATAR cut off, or the FEAS thing, I heard that it is possible to change from a course like Science to Engineering. Can anyone confirm and/or provide any extra information?

I think it would depend on your grades AND your uai (or atar, whatever it is these days).
Also, you may have missed out on some particular courses depending on what field of science u start off in and what field of engineering u wanna get into.

Someone else can confirm this.

Transferring will still be through UAC and will depend on demand. Best to do Engineering at another Uni and try and transfer after one year. If you can't transfer then at least you will get an Engineering degree somewhere rather than being stuck in Science. Note that UNSW is quite challenging so make sure you get your marks (and knowledge) as high as possible at the other Uni so: (a) you get in; and (b) you can cope with the work.
