Just wondering if anyone on this forum does the bachelor of Enginerring course. If u do is it worth spending one year doing all types of enginnering as u do in this course or going straight into a percific enginerring.

I don't do the single BE but just from looking at the handbook it seems that you need to choose which stream of Engineering you want to pursue from the very first year.

You can transfer into another stream but the first year (at melbourne at least) is not a general engineering course load. You do subjects which are specific to a particular discipline in engineering.
