My name is Bec Cushway and I am an experienced tutor covering English 2, 3 and 4 unit as well as Maths 2 and 3 unit.
Experience
ENGLISH: I graduated in 2012 with band 6 or E4 for all of my English subjects and am currently undertaking a communications course double degree at UTS majoring in creative writing. I am available to help with essay-writing, creative writing or anything else English-related. I have considerable experience in English as a subject as well as three years tutoring experience.
MATHS: I graduated in 2012 with a band 5 in 2U maths and a band 6 in 3U maths. I also studied 4U up until trials so can help you integrate your 4U work into your other maths subjects. I have experience tutoring maths from years 7-12 and am currently employed by Ezymath as a math tutor.
Price
$40 per face-to-face hour lesson. This price is negotiable, depending on your location and times over one hour. This includes FREE consultation via email any time, day or night, about any concerns you may have as well as free draft-marking. Cash or internet transfer.
For groups of more than one person, the price is less and can be negotiated.
Location
I am based in the Sydney CBD, near Central station. I am flexible with location within the Sydney area and can meet you wherever is most convenient for you. If you would like to meet me outside of the CBD, just let me know and we can work it out.
Availability
I am fully available Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I can also work Tues, Wed, Thursday but we will have to talk about a time we're both free.
Have a chat with me about what you want to get out of tutoring and let me know when you want to meet. I do specialise in creative writing under timed conditions but am fully proficient in my other areas. I can work in and around your other subjects, making sure that nothing is falling behind in any of your studies as well.
I'm very flexible and my tutoring experience covers more than just telling you what you're doing wrong. I can help you study more efficiently and get a routine schedule going if that's what you want.
