Ive been in Aus for almost 5 years now, so i got into ESL just right.. but then a friend of mine told me that ESL drags down ur UAI... is that true?

i dont think it'll drag down ur uai.
one of my friends doing esl but hes pretty good at english and he told me that
it wont effect his uai.

It doesn't "drag" your UAI down, it just doesn't scale as high. Just do well and you should be fine

i would pick standard. the content in esl looks so boring IMO.

It just doesnt scale as high. It won't drag your UAI down. Good luck with it.

Except I've been here for a shorter time than you (three and a half years, and therefore probably worse at English than you ) but doing Eng Adv right now (cos my school makes everyone do it in Year 11). Just had an assessment the results of which is unknown...so still don't know if I can handle it or not >.<
