im only in prelim, but we just started the handmaid's tale by margaret atwood and its considered science fiction 
its about a futuristic society, which has different classes of people. the people in 'red' are fertile and have to carry babies for the infertile.
ive only just started, but its pretty intense and interesting, + its not too long
