Hey guys, i got this hectic english test coming up soon, and its on some supplementary material for relationships, and im totallylost!! I have to get two supplementay materials as i chose.. Song lyric-->> Maroon 5 - This Love, and a picture for visual techniques(attached to thread).....i need to know the purpose of each of these materials (entertains, informs blah blah the audience for whatever reason), the type of audience, age, maturity, culture, sex it is set out for. Um...the type and kind of relationship they are showing in both these text, how language techniques are used in the song to shape the relationship . Also how visual techniques are used in the picture to shape the relationship....... and thats pretty much it......OH PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME...! ILL GIVE U A BISCUIT!! Well, english is definately not my best sub' but i'll try to help (a lil)
with the photo u got there,
they obviously r "sort of" dancing... with an umbrella..
thats not it lol,
these kind of picture normally attracts the ladies that are around 14 - 3X becoz it romantic to dance in the "rain"
The man nd the woman r hugging nd they look like they'r enjoying themselves..
I cant tell u much unless u tell me where the photo came from... coz u wont kno wat its for if u duno wher it came from..

audience -> general public, teenagers nd young adults
Culture -> obviously ppl who understand eng, ppl who have adapted the western culture to listen to english music
sex -> both bcoz its a love song
