Oh lord help.
I am in E Major. I am going to C# Major via this chord prog.
E | A | E G# | A G# | C#.
But I am really confused in how to handle this modulation for Bb pitched instruments. While there is no problem for the Concert pitched instr, there seems to be an anomaly in the Bb pitched instruments, as D# major doesn't exist it pushed from F# major, to Eb major. I would like to know how to handle the chromatic bits in the modulation BEFORE the key change, if you have any ideas! At the moment I am going from #'s and double sharps to flats, which seems really odd to me, if we are going to a flatted key sig! (which means the last chord as in above ^ effectively puts the Bb instr in this hypothetical D# major.)
There's a screen shot attached I hope...
Any help/suggestions?
Cheers a million!
