Hi,

On the enrolment form, it says that if you choose a unit thats not on your home campus, you have to get the signature of the program head. But say for e.g. BA / Law. The Law units will be on your home campus, but the arts ones will be in penrith or bankstown. Whose signature do you need to get? Stephen Jane, Mac Collings or the head of Arts at the campus you are going to?

Thanks.

you don't need a signature

that is you home campus too - you basically have two home campuses - your law one and your arts one....

for the purposes of enrolment and stuff - they regard you as a "arts" student and a "law" student not a law student doing arts as such

logically, they wouldn't need you to get a signature for the non-law half coz then hundreds of people would have to and its pointless....

EDIT - think about it tho - if arts doesn't run at parra, of course parra cannot be your home campus...

for future reference - there's a list of staff on the uws web page - program head isn't necessarily the head of the department - eg my Program head for Business is Head of the Employment Relations "school' - totally different person from te head of the School of management which is the big school it falls under

Dont bother, just enrol. I had a unit off my home campus last semester and they didnt care. I think its only for those students who have the unit both on their home campus and another campus.
yep - for exactly that reason:)

there's heapsa notices up now about it..

mainly its coz parra and blacktown has a smaller limited number of stuednts they can take than the other campuses so you have to get approval to swap around between campuses if you i guess, shuoldn't be there, to make sure someone else ain't missing a place that they should have at that campus...
