so says macquarie...


K INCREASES with increasing temperature if reaction is ENDOTHERMIC and
K DECREASES with increasing temperature if reactino is EXOTHERMIC.....


so if K DECREASES with DECREASING temperature.... does that mean the reaction is endothermic?



if yes then the independent trial answers for 2004 [i think] is lying.

K will decrease with decreasing temperature is its endothermic.

Think of it logically. The reaction is taking in heat, therefore if you cool it, it will go backwards, i.e. there will be a greater concentration of reactants, and because K = Conc. of Products / Conc. of reactants, K will be smaller.
