If you are doing the elective Automated Manafacturing Systems then you will need to know that Jacaranda and Excel IPT have conflicting information with Heineman.
This is about dampening. Excel IPT also has conflicting information between the book and the study cards that come with it.
Jacaranda and Excel IPT are wrong in that they say Overdampening is too faster reaction, whereas the correct explanation is that
"Overdamping - if the change is too slow and the actuator takes too long to reach the desired level or position, but does not overshoot the desired level. It is a slow reaction to change and return to stability"
