umm help - i can write an essay but not the plan, i don't get it.
i got marked down for not including one.

who marks you down for not including a plan? It's a waste of time if you don't need one and is used only to assist with your essay, you get no marks for the plan in the HSC.

my stupid school thats who - they give me a crap mark and then say marks deducted for not including essay plan.

By a plan the teachers mean something like a branstorm which each point has a number with 1 being either you first point or outline of your intro etc. Its just really used to show that there is structure to your essay and a direction in which the essay is flowing.
