hey guys

could n e u set me a good essay question that would help me in understanding the topics?

my school started topic 2 first, so if any of u could post up an essay question that covers the important stuff in that topic, i would be most grateful

other students would have done topic 1, so essay questions for topic 1 may be usefull as well.

Hey Hatty, these are some I can think of off the top of my head...

Topic 1

*Discuss the effects of protectionist policies on the global economy

*Analyse the impact of contemporary trading blocs and agreements on the global economy

*Explain the reasons for contrasts in the levels of development within the global economy (I think this could be a question for next years HSC, so I would do it if I were u )

*Evaluate the impact of globalisation on an economy other than Australia

Topic 2

*Analyse the relationship between international competitiveness and structural change in the Australian economy

*Discuss the impact of free trade and protection policies on the quality of life in Australia

*Explain the reasons for changes in the value of exchange rates

*Evaluate the impact of changes in the exchange rate on the Australian economy (this might be a bit hard to do without having done Topic 3...)


Once you have done both topics 1 and 2, a good question to do would be:

*Evaluate the impact of the global economy on the Australian economy
