'It takes both good ideas and effective rhetoric to make a speech meaningful and memorable' With reference to the statement, discuss at least three speaches set for study.

You have been invited to address an audince of educators/teachers who are discussing the following question.
'Can anything of value be gained from an examination of the past?"

Your task is to convince them that the speeches elective is and appropriate choice which could be used to argue in support of this idea.


I know these are adaptions of past hsc questions - does anyone have examples of other questions which you have been given for assessment?

we got a 3-4 min speech, argue for or against on
'that every text has its use-by date'
Consider prescribed texts ideas, language, form, reception in different contexts, refer to at least two speeches or poems.
quite erky.
