I'm looking at doing an exchange at St.Johns University in New York next year. I was wondering if anyone had done an exchange there, or at any other unis in New York. What's it like? Was it enjoyable? How was the social aspect? Very expensive?

New York is generally expensive. Bring your worst clothes and try and look pathetic, so that rich socialites throw money at you.
