Hi,
I'm writing up my notes and im not sure how to approach this dotpoint:
Use available evidence to explain the relationship between the conservation of water and the production and excretion of concentrated nitrogenous wastes in a range of Australian insects and terrestrial mammals.

Can anyone help?????

Thanx

So basically it means that, if the organism lives in a very arid, dry environment it must produce highly concentrated urine (uric acid, or ammonia) in order to conserve water. But an organism that lives in a very moist environment, such as a freshwater fish, is able to excrete very dilute urine, as it lives in an abundance of freshwater, and has no need to conserve it.
