Find the coordinates of the turning point of the curve y=xe-0.5x stating whether it is maximum or minimum.

Ok I keep getting x = 4 but the answer is x=2, please can someone confirm this with me?

y=xe<sup>-0.5x

</sup>
dy
dx = e<sup>-0.5x</sup> + (x)(-0.5*e<sup>-0.5x</sup>) ---(product rule)
= e-0.5x(1- 0.5x) ---(common factor of e-0.5x)

to find stationary point dy/dx = 0
e-0.5x cannot = 0
therefore the only stationary point is where 1-0.5x =0 therefore x=2
