Differentiate:

y = e^2x(2x-3)/(x-1)^2

Do we have to differentiate the numerator using the product rule and then use the quotient rule?

$Let $ $ U = {\frac {2x(2x-3)}{(x-1)^2}} \\ \\ \frac {d e^{\frac{2x(2x-3)}{(x-1)^2}}}{dx} = \frac {de^U} {dU} \times \ \frac {dU}{dx} = e^U \times \frac {(6-2x)}{(x-1)^3} \\ \\ = e^{\frac {2x(2x-3)}{(x-1)^2}} \times \frac {6-2x}{(x-1)^3}$

if I did not get my differentiation of U (using the quotient rule) wrong. The question itself is simply an application of the chain rule problem.
