Well my teacher has know clue and I need a bit of advice on how you would go about answering these questions.

Business Report:

As the strategic Planning manager, write a report to the board of directors that examines the effectiveness of the current organisational structure and analyse legal and ethical responsibilities in relation to financial management and marketing.

Sorry, but I cant type out all the details, but basically it has a flat management structure. How would I talk about the effectiveness of the current organisational structure? I can do the second part.

I know how to do business reports....its sad that I cant even answer these and I came first in the half yearly.

Also, what are the marketing options to increase market share?

It's a little hard to answer the question without having the whole question - but youneed to discuss the current organisational structures ability to achieve the desired goals/objectives/needs.

There are many ways you can increase market share. You need to find the one that best suits the business in the situation.

Eg:
Product: by positioning the company's products as Aust made, innovative or high quality products they are able to differentiate their products from cheap imports of lower quality. Through product differentiation and branding of its Aust image it will be able to increase market share.

Promotion: intensive advertising campaign to reinforce its image/product. Sponsoring local teams etc will also help to strengthen image and gain market share.

God, I think I'd do so well in my HSC if I didn't do Business Studies - I HATE IT! I had no alternative though!
