Oral presentation:

topic: the many 'worlds' of Australia Literature.

The opening of the speech has to be:
Our Australian composers should be applauded for the skill and honesty with which they represent a view of who we are...

The assignment sheet then says:
In your speech you should discuss the ways in which the values of spiritual connection, human relationships and national identity, have been explored in the required texts, as well as the way in which context has shaped the composers' interpretations of these concepts. The techniques of novel and drama forms that shape the representation of the composer's view must be analysed.

The texts that have to be discussed are:
The Great World- David Malouf
The Floating World- John Romeril
