ok, so maybe i'm leaving this a little late..but how does this whole external performance thing work? nothing was really mentioned in class so i'm trying to work it out now before it's a tad too late. so i'm doing music 1 and play the piano, but when i choose what to perform for the external exam does it HAVE to be a piece from the topics we studied in class, cause well my topics aren't too fantastic and don't leave a lot of room to go wild (20th century, jazz, australian stuff). any help appreciated cheers

What were your topics in class?

I'll have a little search through Board of Studies, but I feel that even if you did have a choice, you are better of to do something from your topics so you can show that you understand the stylistic features of your chosen topic.
