It depends how much the assessments weigh. If they're the first assessments which are like worth 10%, then theres always a chance to boost your ranks. If you rape the next assessments you can still get 80 atar.

You need to define what do you mean by 'fail' and also what type of assessments are they as well as what percentage weighting they are.
