man im soo angry right about now....

like last year in year 11 we had like 10 periods of every 2 weeks and i was going very well because we had this really good teacher she was like a uni computers teacher and she had moved into the high school area because her kids were comming to our school and she offered to work 1 year with no wages so she could get straight into our school....she was soo good like every one in the class had the best work and we were all averaging 90's in term on of year 11....but it all went bad at the end of last term our teacher who was like the best ipt teacher ever moved schools to mount druit because the people at the bored of studies are dumb asses...now we have this totally shit teacher who is totally crap and sucks heaps at ipt....and to make things worse we only have 4 periods of ipt every two weeks....wtf is going on how worse can ipt get its like my best subject now its turned into my worst it not like their not that many people in our class either theirs like 20.....wtf is going on who do i complain to like ring up board of studies or get a fat patition going....man end of my rant....

same happened to us, sort of, in software design we were going to have this really mad teacher who actually knew what she was doing and had qualifications, but now we have our principals wife, stupid bitch don't even know what a keyboard is. its really crap now because all we do is flow charts n bs like that, god i want to stab her in the eye with a soldering iron.

our old teacher was soo good i was learning soo much ...she was like a uni teacher, who also worked for tafe on nights and sets up the networks for the local council....now we have some idiot who made us do some essay crap for ipt like doing menings of words and he dosnt even know the meanings man im soo pissed...

This happened at my school for years, first to my brother and then to me. So when it came time to choose a career in IT which is what I wanted to follow I decided to become a computer teacher because this problem is all over the state and something needs to be done! Good luck guys. It'll be another 3 years before I start teaching but I promise I'll be one of the 'good' ones.

lol... our class had a similar problem, i dont know how the teacher even got qualified for the job, she just read the textbook, and when we asked questions she told us to shutup! i mean how the fck are we meant 2 learn if we shutup lol her voice was so annoying it makes u sleep instead of pay attention anyway! and when i wanted to read my textbook in class she got pissed off at dat 2....she had some kinda problem with me, coz when i talked to my friends to learn about the topic (since she didnt giv answerz) she'd be like 'be quiet how will you pass ur exams if you talking" lol stupid idiot teacher, i came 1rst in my class anyway.

My ipt teacher is pretty good, he's like 26 or something and he actually talks to us, so he's heaps fun.

....but, he's one moody mofo, heaps nice one day, a crazy dude the next.

heh how odd. my ipt teacher is the same...except he's never been good. He talks to the wall in a monotone and all we do is textbook excersixe and bludge around when we finish it. we got cut back to 4p a week but theres only 8ppl in our class

hey while im at it i may as well rant too. principal has cut back so many classes. My Food tech class has been cut to 5pd a week and its one of the largest courseloads i reckon. same with hospitality, only 5pd a week and im doing food and bev which is a massive lot of theory. reason being he thinks that the year 7's and 8's are more needy of the time rather than us who are doing our hsc.

and he has collapsed the 2U maths class, so those people had to come in our class (3U). that makes the class over 25 students and if anyone wants to drop extesion they have no class to go down to.

those are the ones that affect me, theres so many more. grr. anywho...im done now

In year 11 I had an IPT teacher that was a complete moron. Because she didn't know anything about IPT and could only teach by reading out the textbook we got the school to fire her.

Then in year 12 we had another teacher who had been at the school for a long time and although he knew a lot about computers he couldn't teach for shit.

So in the end I basically taught myself IPT for 2 years and it was my best mark in the HSC.

IPT is one of the subject you don't really need a teacher. I taught myself during the HSC course and I got one of the best mark in my school.
