i would assume meat pies with peas, potatoes, etc as australian cuisine

Fresh, light Japanese food is amazing, but only when it's good quality.

There's this little place called Horoki in Liverpool St, Melbourne that I used to go to, but it won the Age Cheap Eats Hall of Fame award and now I can never get a seat there, even at off peak times. It's crazy.
