Consider for a moment, the humble 'Extended Play' release, a bridge between the single and the album/LP. While considering, perhaps you would answer the question;

What are your favourite EPs?

Mine are;
Radiohead-My Iron Lung (It has The Trickster, Punchdrunk Lovesick Singalong and Permanent Daylight... Greatness.)
Godspeed You Black Emperor!-Slow Riot For New Zero Kanada (Moya kills me..Metaphorically at least.)
My Bloody Valentine-Tremolo
Augie March-Waltz
R.E.M-Chronic Town (Their debut release.. Wolves Lower and Gardening At Night are very catchy.)
Mogwai-EP.

sadly i am not, but i do admire his excelent taste in music.
though i feel he is dangerously underexposed to artists like Frank Zappa and Tom Waits, who are essential listning as far as im concerned :p

ooo and an ep my dad released with a band he was in a few years back. it was a very well rounded odd rock, plain rock, jazz, instrumental, downright weird filmclips sort of cd. they are sorely missed.
RIP - the upswing (1985-90something)
